CANBY'S ABC PASSPORT ADVENTURE

1. Eligibility:  The ABC Passport Adventure is open to Oregon residents of all ages. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete and sign the official entry form. Any prize awarded to a participant under the age of 18 will be awarded to and accepted by the parent or legal guardian on the participant's behalf. Employees of Active Media Publishing Group, the Canby Area Chamber of Commerce, participating sponsors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.

 

2. Promotion Period: Completed passport entries must be submitted no later than August 31st, 2026.

 

3. How to Enter:  Visit participating businesses with a stamp space in their listing to collect the required passport stamps throughout the Passport Magazine. Once all required stamps have been collected, bring your completed passport to the Canby Area Chamber of Commerce to receive the official final Chamber Stamp.  Complete the Official Entry Form and submit it to the Chamber by the entry deadline to be entered into the prize drawing.

4. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase, payment, donation, or obligation is required to participate or win. Visiting participating businesses and collecting stamps is free. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

 

5. Limit  One completed passport entry per person.

 

6. Prize Drawing  Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the deadline. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries submitted.

 

7. Prizes

Grand Prize

Two-night stay at a Mount Hood Oregon Resorts (Estimated Value $500)

Second Prize

Admission tickets to the Clackamas County Event Center. (Estimated Value $100)

Third Prize

Home goods gift basket courtesy of LE NEST (Estimated Value $50). Le Nests Prizes are non-transferable, may not be redeemed for cash, and may not be exchanged for other goods or services. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

 

8. Winner Notification: Winners will be contacted using the information provided on the entry form. If a selected winner cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days, an alternate winner may be selected.

 

9. Publicity Release: By accepting a prize, winners grant Active Media Publishing Group permission to use their name, photograph, likeness, and hometown for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

 

10. Passport Validation: Stamps must be obtained in person from participating businesses during normal business hours. Photocopied, duplicated, altered, forged, reproduced, or otherwise modified passports will not be accepted. Sponsors reserve the right to verify the authenticity of any passport submitted and to disqualify entries that appear fraudulent or tampered with.

 

11. Prize Conditions: All prizes are awarded "as is" and without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Prizes are promotional gifts only, have no cash redemption value, and may not be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash.  No cash alternative will be offered.  Any expenses not specifically identified as part of a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

 

12. Release of Liability: By participating in the ABC Passport Adventure, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Active Media Publishing Group, the Canby Area Chamber of Commerce, participating businesses, prize sponsors, and their respective officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, losses, injuries, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of participation in the promotion or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

 

13. Limitation of Liability: Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, illegible, altered, misdirected, or destroyed passports, entries, or entry forms.  Sponsors assume no responsibility for printing errors, business closures, technical malfunctions, acts of nature, or circumstances beyond their reasonable control that may affect participation in the promotion. In no event shall Active Media Publishing Group, the Canby Area Chamber of Commerce, participating businesses, or prize sponsors be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from participation in this promotion.

 

14. General Conditions: By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the sponsors, which are final in all matters relating to the promotion.  Sponsors reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the promotion if circumstances beyond their control interfere with the fair administration of the program.
