Prost! Music, Dancing, and Local Flavor Returns to Villebois in Wilsonville Oktoberfest

Updated: Oct 2

ree

Wilsonville’s Piazza at Villebois will transform into a lively celebration of music, food, and community spirit on Friday, Oct. 3, when Wilsonville Oktoberfest makes its highly anticipated return. The free, family-friendly event is set to deliver the perfect mix of live entertainment, local eats, and fall fun — all with a charitable twist.

A Night of Music and Movement

Headlining the evening is singer-songwriter Michael Opperman, with another featured musician soon to be announced. But this Oktoberfest isn’t just about listening to the music — it’s about moving to it. The Dirt Darlins, a country dance troupe with a mission, will get the crowd clapping along as they showcase their high-energy routines. Beyond the twirls and kicks, the group also represents something deeper: they empower women and survivors of domestic violence through dance.

“The Dirt Darlins are all about great music, powerful moves, and creating meaningful connections,” says founder Sarahi Welton. “We’re honored to kick off this year’s Oktoberfest with a night of dancing, joy, and purpose.”

Eat, Drink, and Be Festive

Of course, no Oktoberfest would be complete without hearty fare and refreshing drinks. Local food trucks will be serving up everything from brats and hot dogs at Royal Scot Sips & Eats, to wood-fired pizzas from Oven and Oak, plus the gourmet comfort food of Curbside Bistro. Wash it all down with pours from nearby favorites like Lazy Days Brewing, Vanguard Brewing, Cooper Mountain Ale Works, Parra Wine Co., and Corcilla Cellars.

Fun for the Whole Family

Kids will have their own Oktoberfest adventure with a free bouncy house, while families can enjoy the charm of horse-drawn carriage rides (free from 5 to 7 p.m.). Shoppers can stroll through a curated lineup of artisan vendors, offering handmade treasures and unique finds from local makers. Whether you’re dancing, sipping, shopping, or just soaking in the autumn evening, there’s something here for everyone.

Celebrating and Supporting Community

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, 10% of all proceeds from the event will benefit The Dirt Darlins. The group’s mission dovetails perfectly with the festival’s spirit: building joy, connection, and community resilience.

The event is organized by Resilience Events, Inc., a Wilsonville-based nonprofit founded by local entrepreneur and event planner Tabi Traughber. Her mission, she says, is simple but powerful: “Bringing connection to community.” By hosting inclusive, joyful gatherings like Oktoberfest, the organization helps strengthen social ties while giving back to local causes.

Wilsonville Oktoberfest will be held at Piazza at Villebois, 28957 SW Villebois Dr N, Wilsonville, Saturday, Oct. 3, 2025 5–9 p.m.

Included will be live music and dancing, local beer & wine, free carriage rides (5–7 p.m.), kids’ bouncy house, food trucks & artisan vendors. Admission is free, all ages welcome.
